Origins of Sadhbhavana

The famous Greek philosopher Aristotle once said excellence is never an accident, and in Sadhbhavana’s case, it is entirely true. It took us strong intention and effort, along with a splendid vision and direction, to execute it successfully and build Sadhbhavana. In 2005, we had the first thoughts of building a preeminent institution that offers an outstanding and holistic education for young minds in our country. We studied the patterns and qualities of schools and what makes some of them great and some of others not so great.

We visited the best schools in India and abroad to gather an understanding of the qualities our school should have and should not have. This extensive research gave us a result of 444 exclusive quality components of great schools across the world. Not a single school has all of these components, but our founding minds decided to incorporate this hoard of knowledge while designing Sadhbhavana and built a vision on these principles to create an educational institution that could rise to the ranks of the top 10 schools in the country within the following 10 years of our establishment.

In 2008, Sadhbhavana World School was established in the historical city of Calicut. Sadhbhavana achieved in 5 years what we hoped to achieve in 10 years in the beginning; in 2014, we became one of the top 10 schools in India. Within the last 14 years, our academic excellence and vision to promote purposeful learning have made us the most unique educational institution in Kerala, and we are also one of the best international boarding schools in South India. Sadhbhavana’s unique curriculum and teaching methodologies offer the best general education in the country. Our splendid campus spread across 29 acres with soothing infrastructure, adds to the charm of the quality of learning and development we promote in our students.

Curriculum

Sadhbhavana offers a unique and comprehensive curriculum called the Y-Format, with an international early childhood program called "Whystles" as the foundation. This foundation program gradually evolves into the Integrated Primary Program (IPP) to better suit Indian and international standards. From 8th grade on, it leans more towards CBSE and Cambridge, allowing students to choose based on their interests.

Based on international standards while also keeping up with the Indian standard, our curriculum promotes an integrated learning experience. It helps our students embrace creativity and critical thinking while developing a love for learning. Our dedicated faculty, committed to providing the best learning environment and support for our students, makes sure that they excel in the classroom as well as in stages, sports courts, and community spaces.

Infrastructure

Sadhbhavana’s 29-acre lush green campus provides the perfect environment and infrastructure for children to learn and grow into well-rounded individuals. Beyond the curriculum

As we have mentioned above, we aim to provide a comprehensive educational experience that goes beyond a regular curriculum for our students. Our methodologies of teaching include UbD, flipped learning, mind mapping, and experiential learning to enhance the quality of education we provide. With 'Kalakshetra', the art centre of Sadhbhavana, our students learn various art forms and extracurricular activities, such as music vocal & instrumental, dance, painting, arts & crafts, drama, sculpturing, and photography. Sadhbhavana’s excellent sports infrastructure and facility take care of our students' physical health and engage them in sports and physical activities such as tennis, badminton, volleyball, basketball, archery, cricket, football, martial arts, and yoga. The school also houses a mini-pool for children's water safety and swimming skills. Along with these activities, we provide yoga and karate training for all grades, ensuring that every student benefits from these disciplines throughout their school years.
