CEO’s Message
The overarching purpose of education must be to assist human unfolding: physically, emotionally and intellectually. School serves not the business, political or professional agenda, but rather the child and young adult as he or she unfolds those capacities that make him or her uniquely human. In other words, the purpose of progressive education is to reflect on human life and social relationships, realize the fullness of human existence, cultivate critical, creative and courageous thinking, to be socially responsible and make compassionate connections, to value our nation’s social, moral and spiritual well-being.
Today’s kindergarteners will be retiring in the year 2068. We have no idea what the world will look in 5 years, much less 60, yet we are charged with preparing our students for life in that era. Our students are facing many emerging concerns such as global warming, famine, poverty, health issues, population explosion and other environmental and social issues. There is a need for change, rather the creation of change, personally, socially, economically and politically on local, national and global levels.
Sadhbhavana World School was conceived with a vision to deliver unwavering standards in education by integrating 21st-century skills in learning. The school’s vision goes beyond the academic excellence of the children. It aims at creating emotionally intelligent, intellectually proficient and professionally competent world citizens who are socially and culturally moulded to empathize and work towards the betterment of the world at large.
The School has grown by leaps and bounds since its launch on 18th June 2008. I believe that there is still a long way to go. Our vision is to set up a school which will be reckoned as one of the best schools in the country. For that, we are constantly reviewing and restructuring the processes incorporating all the best practices concerned with quality schooling.
